Finding the right setting

We recognise that it can be a challenging journey to get the right educational setting for your child. If you are considering Woodstock House, we will support and work closely with you to ensure that the right decisions are made for them.

Our process is in 4 main steps:

If you feel that Woodstock House is the right environment for your child, the first step is to email our admissions team at admissions@woodstockhouseschool.co.uk with the following details:

– Your full name
– Contact details
– Child’s full name
– EHCP

Please also include any additional information that may be useful, such as details not covered in the EHCP or updates to any outdated information.
Once we receive your email, a member of our team will contact you to gain a fuller understanding of your child’s individual needs.

We will invite you as parent(s) to visit our school for a more in-depth discussion and a tour. There will be opportunities for you to ask any questions that you may have. If we feel that we can meet your child’s needs, we will arrange a time for them to visit and tour the school with you.

If all parties feel this could be the right setting for your child, we will organise trial sessions. These allow them to experience our supportive environment, understand our friendly and tailored teaching methods, and become familiar with our school community. These sessions allow us to observe your child’s strengths and interests. This also enables us to assess the support and care that would be required to help them transition and long term, to help them flourish and reach their full potential.

Following the trial sessions, if Woodstock House is the right environment for your child we will offer a place and once accepted will work with you to ensure a successful transition to Woodstock House.
