Safeguarding
Safeguarding is our number one priority. It reflects our commitment to protecting students’ health, wellbeing, and human rights, ensuring they are safe from harm, abuse, or neglect. It involves creating a secure environment, fostering positive relationships, and taking proactive steps to support students’ emotional, social, and physical development.
All of our staff have undergone the necessary checks to ensure they are fully approved to work with children. We also provide regular safeguarding training and refresher sessions to make sure all staff are confident in recognising, reporting, recording, and sharing any safeguarding concerns appropriately.
As a school, we work closely with Surrey County Council and follow guidance from both the Surrey Safeguarding Children Partnership and national statutory requirements. Our safeguarding policies and procedures are reviewed and updated regularly in line with best practice.
We have a clear duty of care to report any safeguarding concerns and to share this information with the appropriate individuals or external agencies where necessary. One of our trained members of staff will always be available to help students in need.
If you or anyone you know has a safeguarding concern regarding a child in the school, please contact one of the following members of staff via dsl@woodstockhouse.co.uk:
