Building confidence & resilience.
The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is a world-renowned programme that encourages young people to develop confidence, resilience, and life skills beyond the classroom. From Bronze in Year 9, through Silver in Year 10 and onto Gold in Year 12. This means it is possible for students to complete the full Duke of Edinburgh Award pathway during their time at Woodstock House.
The award challenges participants to set personal goals and achieve them across four key areas: Volunteering, Physical, Skills, and Expedition.
Whether it’s giving back to the community, learning a new skill, building fitness, or working as part of a team on an outdoor adventure, the DofE empowers students to discover new interests, grow in independence, and celebrate their achievements.
Taking part in the award is not only rewarding but also highly valued by universities and employers, making it an excellent opportunity for students to stand out and prepare for their future.
